dc.description.abstract | President-Elect David C. Sweet held an informal meeting in Kilcawley Center allowing students to address any potential concerns they might have had. Complaints from fellow YSU students got a Kilcawley House dorm resident arrested for trafficking drugs. A potential business deal between Youngstown, surrounding businesses - including YSU - and Adelphia Communications would lead to business growth and opportunities for YSU students, graduates and faculty. Winter quarter ends with deaths of two YSU students. A suicide and car accident were the causes of death for Joe Harris and Jacob Schmidt. Football lineup for the 2000 season is announced as preparations are made for fall. | en_US |
