dc.description.abstract The United States Army Air Forces has installed a War Training Service organization at Youngstown College. Professor Dykema has been appointed as adviser to the Inter fraternity council. It was announced that Football at Youngstown College is out for the duration of the war. With the announcement of the suspension of football at Youngstown College, Dwight V. Beede, head of the YoCo Athletic Department and football coach, disclosed his plans to leave the college and the football field permanently and return to his insurance business which was established some time ago. The college takes notice of the absences of men. The United States Army has taken over the Musical Institute to quarter the army trainees at Youngstown College. The musical students now take their classes in the main college building and the annex of the Dana's Musical Institute. Former graduate of Youngstown college and football star, Cyril James, is now the coach of the Ursuline High School football team. en_US
