dc.description.abstract Jackie Fynes was elected Homecoming Queen 1965. Fr. Anthony Esposito was named chaplain and advisor to the YU Newman Club. Fall enrollment climbed to more than 11,000—a new record. The University was victorious in the case of Banoci v. Youngstown University in which a former student sued YU for libelous statements made about him by “The Jambar.” The Youngstown Fire Department responded to a false alarm on campus. The YU Chapter of the NAACP explained its goals in a membership drive. en_US
