dc.description.abstract | The President of Student Council is Harry Meshel. Youngstown College enrollment figures soared to previously unknown heights this semester with 4,650 students. Raymond C. Jones, senior at the Engineering School has won second place for the paper he wrote for the 1948 Resistance Welding Manufactures Association Prize Contest sponsored by the American Welding Society. YoCo remodeling projection which started last January (increased 800 seat auditorium) will open this coming January. "Penguin Platter" and "You Bet Your Sweet Life" are new columns featured this semester. Youngstown College is the first college in the nation to X-ray the entire student body. | en_US |
