dc.description.abstract Joan Pletnic was elected 1961 Homecoming Queen. Pep rally kicks off homecoming festivities. YU’s football team defeats Central Michigan. Three new members were added to the Engineering faculty. Catholic chaplain Fr. Petric is feted prior to his departure for active duty with the U.S. Army. Gary Scavnicky, a senior in Romance Languages, related his experiences as a student in Guatamala, courtesy of a scholarship from the YU Spanish Club. YU Art professor Jon Naberezny had an exhibition of oil paintings at the Galerie Inernationale in New York City. en_US
