dc.description.abstract The Ohio General Assembly considered a tuition repayment plan. Youngstown City Council sought to break its promise to close off Elm Street (between Lincoln and Spring Streets), thereby threatening construction of the new Technical and Community College Building. A Federal court ruled that YSU had to give dismissed professor Bhagwati P.K. Poddar a cause for his firing. President Pugsley supported the McGuffey Memorial project, YSU was to offer new adult education courses, and the Ohio Association for Higher Education announced its intention to form a local chapter. Dismissed professor Bhagwati P.K. Poddar discussed the significance of his case to public employees. The Education Department initiated the Sheridan Project. en_US
