dc.description.abstract	Special Orientation issue. YSU organizes celebration of 30th anniversary as a state university with special programming planned throughout the year. University plans to make the change from quarters to semesters by the year 2000. YSU Center for Engineering Research and Technology Transfer has implemented a tailgate recycling program for all of YSU's home football games. YSU Police officer, George Hammar, offers tips for campus safety and crime prevention. President welcomes students and updates the state of the university. Meet the College Deans.
