dc.description.abstract Journalist and author Carl Rowan addressed a packed Strouss Auditorium. A rat problem arose in the Lincoln Hotel. The Community of Concern, a peace group, had its validity as a student organization questioned by President Pugsley. The establishment of a graduate program in the business school was stalled by the shortage of Ph.D’s in the school. Student Council begins a tutoring program. Students protested the visit of former segregationist governor of Alabama and presidential candidate George C. Wallace, while the Young Democrats endorsed Vice President Hubert H. Humphrey as its choice for president. en_US
