dc.description.abstract The Frosh revolt and snatch paddles from upperclassmen in front of the branch library on the Public Square where upperclassmen were outnumber 2 to 1.The Student Council is looking into all the freshmen to wear green caps at least until Thanksgiving if they win a tug of war with upperclassmen. An editorial is given about the green caps adding to the growing distinction and isolation of classes, if the freshmen are required to wear them. Youngstown College reached a high of enrollment of 432. The fencing teams are to be organized today and there may be the possibility of having a swim team as well. 325 students attend reception for the new students. Miss Eleanor North, Dean of Women, presented the college with a hand painted Oxford varsity shield, which will be hung in the school library. 300 students attended the freshmen breakfast Sept 23 at Pioneer paviolion. If there is interests in a debate team, debate contests with local and nearby colleges will be arranged. Plans to issue student activity passes to student who have paid their student activity fees is being considered by Student Council members. en_US
