dc.description.abstract Student Government Vice-President Pat Billett issued challenges to Student Government representatives. University Alumna, Eugenia Atkinson, returns as newest Board of Trustees member. Olympic gold medalist, Ron Laird, will visit campus this week courtesy of the Women's Health Information Network and the YSU department of Health and Physical Education. Student Government observed Alcohol Awareness Week with a program promoting responsible drinking. Dollar Bank Manager in Kilcawley Center, Barbara Phillips, dies of cancer over the summer. New assistant professor of theater design and technology, Edward Vicol, brings positive change to University. John McKenna, who for the last seven seasons was the head coach for YSU's women's volleyball team, left the head coach position to become YSU's new Academic Athletic Counselor with assistant volleyball coach Joe Conroy replacing him as head coach. Herb Williams snags the initial Student Athlete Award. en_US
