dc.description.abstract President Pugsley acknowledged the debate concerning the YSU Athletic Department, but refrained from participating. A small crowd witnessed the YSU football team’s eighth consecutive loss. A YSU co-ed was attacked outside the Engineering Science Building. Counseling for draft-age men was to be provided. New selection procedures for Student-Faculty Committees were discussed. Assistant Dean Bertelsen, an expert on campus radicalism, was profiled, as was former YSU student Aaron Howard, on duty with the US Army in Vietnam where he sketched and painted war scenes. A YSU-sponsored intercollegiate debate tournament was highlighted. en_US
