dc.description.abstract Kilcawley Center’s grand reopening was delayed again, due to a late shipment of lounge and pub furniture. The University Senate scheduled a special session to deal with general requirements changes. Black History Week was announced, with the Rev. Jesse Jackson as a scheduled speaker. The new joint medical school was budgeted at $790,000. A policy of “mutual understanding” was submitted by the University’s service employee union to President Coffelt. The final draft of the Management Improvement Plan neared publication. Cafeteria prices increased due to hikes in food prices. Major Events experienced a profit from the recent Seals & Crofts concert. en_US
