dc.description.abstract | Nine were elected to Student Council. A student referendum on the General Fee passed. The Senate debated the new Fine Arts degree and communications course requirements. The Task Force Committee on Energy Conservation received back over 3,000 questionnaires that had been distributed. While YSU-OEA came under fire for not defining the role of students in the faculty contract, YSU-AAUP met to discuss possible revisions to the Senate and the OEA statement on faculty tenure. A student Minority Affairs Council was set up to assist freshmen from various minority groups. The Campus Action Project was deemed a success. A short history of local philanthropy toward YSU was presented. | en_US |
