dc.description.abstract	The Senate extended its previous charter, pending approval of the Board of Trustees. British talk show host David Frost discussed his show business career during the course of his Skeggs Lecture. Student Council questioned the University’s use of a dangerous insecticide on campus. The Steve Miller Band was scheduled to play at Beeghly Center. Dr. Leon Rand (Chemistry) was appointed dean of the Graduate School. Howard Mettee (Chemistry) won a run-off election for YSU-OEA second vice president.	en_US
