dc.description.abstract The Board of Trustees appointed Vice President for Academic Affairs John J. Coffelt as the third President of Youngstown State University. Immediately after, the faculty union, YSU-OEA filed a protest over the method in which the appointment was made. Dr. Robert E. Ward resigned his chairmanship of the Foreign Language Department due to disagreements with the Dean of Arts & Sciences. The University Senate was to meet over the Pass/Fail and Credit/No Credit grades. The Drama Department salutes Great Britain, a “radio-reader” is developed for the handicapped by WYSU-FM and the Subsidiary Communications Authorization service. YSU football player Ron Jaworski was sent a draft notice by the NFL. en_US
