dc.description.abstract The university administration took issue with statements made by the faculty union over the appointment of Dr. John C. Coffelt as YSU President, which was done outside the ususal candidate search process. Student Council passed a resolution denying Council’s recognition of Coffelt as the legitimate President of YSU until a meeting could be arranged between it and the administration. Mozart’s “Cosi Fan Tutte” was to be performed by the Canadian Opera Company as part of the YSU Artists Lecture Series. The YSU Sailing Club planned a “Sail In” membership drive, while the Cooperative Campus Ministry offered a film presentation. Dorm life in the Lincoln Towers was profiled. “The Devil’s Disciple,” a play performed in honor of Great Britain, was highlighted. en_US
