dc.description.abstract Student Council elected a new chairman and began a review of the recent election. An Ohio court ruled that YSU had to release on demand salary figures for the YSU staff and faculty. Artist-Lecturer Dr. John Tyson was set to speak. A debate on the grade option pass/fail was set to open. A YSU senior declared his candidacy for the Democratic Party in the race for Mahoning County Treasurer. YSU marketing students got involved in a project to improve the effectiveness of Ford auto dealers. Former football player and sports commentator Frank Gifford was set to speak at the Fourth Annual Sports Banquet. en_US
