dc.description.abstract | Five offices relocate to other quarters on campus. A concert by Woody Herman was advertised. Free University classes began. The Ohio Civil Rights Commission ruled that the rights of former Sociology professor Dr. Bhagwati Poddar were not violated when the University decided not to renew his contract. Dr. John Tyson assistant professor of obstetrics and gynecology at Johns Hopkins University, lectured YSU students on sexual ignorance and abortion. The African-American Student Union supported a local parents group after the “Hayes School Incident.” A substantial number of YSU faculty supported the choice of the OEA as their sole bargaining agent. | en_US |
