Voter turnout was heavy in the faculty collective bargaining referendum, with about 71 percent of the faculty participating. YSU Chief of Security Paul Cress presented a lecture on self-defense, the University Senate could not vote due to a loss of quorum. Student Council was briefed on the expansion of Kilcawley Center. Beeghly Physical Education Center was set to be dedicated on May 26. Professor Slavin (History) discussed his latest book on the French Revolution, Urban Studies offered an internship program, and Canadian singer-poet Rolf Kempf was set to present a concert. The University’s registration system was highlighted. |
