dc.description.abstract Spokespersons for both the OEA and AAUP each predicted victory in the faculty referendum on union representation. Student Council approved the purchase of two live penguin mascots. Spring Weekend festivities netted a profit of $6,500. A small fire broke out in the attic of the building where the Jambar was published, but was quickly put out. With budget proposals exceeding 15 percent over allocated funds, Student Government came under scrutiny. Drs. Clyde and Edith Painter announced their upcoming departure from YSU. The Dana School of Music presented “The Barber of Seville.” Beeghly Physical Education Center was dedicated. en_US
