dc.description.abstract The Board of Trustees convened to consider the resignation of YSU President Albert L. Pugsley. Reaction to news of the cease-fire agreement in Vietnam was mixed. Renowned philosopher Dr. Sidney Hook spoke on academic freedom during his Skeggs Lecture. The Newman Center spearheaded preparations for a “lettuce boycott” in support of farm workers and their right to organize. Student Council passed its resolution on the “pass/fail” grade. A lack of interest amongst women was noted during the campus Panhellenic Rush. The Geology Department accepts a collection of specimens of fossils, rocks, and minerals. en_US
