dc.description.abstract AAUP and the University Senate both passed motions criticizing the YSU Board of Trustees for the way in which Vice President John J. Coffelt was selected to replace outgoing President Albert L. Pugsley. “Credit/No Credit” passed the University Senate and was sent to the Board of Trustees for final approval. Maya Angelou and Nikki Giovanni were scheduled to speak on campus during Black History Month. The old (and relocated) bookstore building was renamed the Central Services Building and designated to be used as a center for various university services, such as the print shop. WYSU-FM planned a festival of early American music, and ROTC reported stable enrollment, despite drops at other campuses. en_US
