dc.description.abstract | Contract negotiations between YSU and the faculty union neared completion. Student Council convened to discuss finances and a controversial amendment through which Council would refuse to recognize Dr. John J. Coffelt as the legitimate President of YSU. The University Senate gave its full support to the “new football program.” Fifty students gathered at a meeting to criticize policies of the Jambar. Ashland took first place in the Penn-Ohio Conference Swimming and Diving Championship held at YSU. | en_US |
