dc.description.abstract Dr. Arnold Moore was named Dean of Education, while Philip Hirsch was appointed director of Kilcawley Center. Ohio Governor John Gilligan submitted an appropriations bill to the Ohio General Assembly to provide funding for the proposed Northeast Ohio Universities College of Medicine. YSU Vice President John Coffelt was named to the board of the Youngstown Area Chamber of Commerce. YSU’s Army ROTC program announced that it would now admit women. YSU artists submitted entries in the Butler Institute’s annual midyear art show. en_US
