dc.description.abstract The Board of Trustees approved a budget of $23.9 million. A rash of bicycle thefts erupted on campus. Dr. Charles Aurand, Dean of the Dana School of Music, departed YSU for Arizona. 34 faculty members received promotions. Darrell Rishel, YSU Dean of Student Affairs, agreed to serve as liaison between the University and handicapped students. YSU’s Judy Kolesar was named to the Karate Association’s’ Hall of Fame. YSU-OEA president Thomas Shipka was appointed to two positions within the National Education Association. en_US
