dc.description.abstract | A delay in the laying of carpeting pushed the opening of newly-remodeled Kilcawley Center to winter quarter (1974). Arab students and supporters staged a peaceful protest against Israel as war erupted between the Jewish state and its Arab neighbors. Fall enrollment dropped for a third consecutive year, while the 1974 budget indicated both an increase in faculty pay and the University’s state subsidy. Questionnaires regarding services were distributed to handicapped students. The Community of Concern scheduled the showing of a film on Vietnam. Field programs were offered to senior social work majors. The second installment of a three-part series on the history of YSU appeared. | en_US |
