dc.description.abstract | Dr. Winston Eshelman (Education) announced his lawsuit against YSU for denial of tenure. Dr. Steven Redburn (Political Science) issued a report identifying a correlation between teacher effectiveness and student evaluation of their instructors. Plans were made for the renovation of “old Kilcawley Center,” while the Kilcawley Center Board seated new members. A new issue of the campus foreign languages newspaper “Polyglot” was planned for publication. The campus free clinic remained in debt after a failed fundraising attempt. A survey showed a lack of participation in campus events by most YSU students. The Administration praised the newly-established Instructional Development Program. | en_US |
