dc.description.abstract | The newly-established Student Fee Subcommittee was composed of five students and five administrators. A meeting of Student Council ended acrimoniously as Chairman Ed Sturgeon argued with another member over the proposed new constitution. An formal apology was sent to WBBW Radio’s sport director from Dr. Lawrence Looby, Special Assistant to the President, who admitted that the way in which the announcement was made was not correct. The new library’s planned use of “tattle tape” (to discourage book theft) was explained by University Librarian Richard Owen. A 22-day summer tour of Europe was planned by the Geography Department. A student becomes a business partner in a pro shop. The benefits of campus group counseling sessions are examined. | en_US |
