dc.description.abstract The faculty union and the University reach a tentative agreement during contract negotiations. Student Government candidates engage in a public debate. An ad hoc committee modified the Foreign Language Requirement. Major Events assured readers that the James Taylor concert would go on as scheduled. Peter Lisagor, the Washington bureau chief of the Chicago Daily News, was scheduled to speak. A parking attendant expressed his views about student drivers, a dietician/faculty member criticized American eating habits. A martial arts club was formed, and the “Taming of the Shrew” concluded the Spotlight Theatre’s 1974-75 season. en_US
