dc.description.abstract Student Government president Bill Brown lashed out at the Jambar during a meeting of Student Council, citing complaints by students. A group of about fifty who were unhappy with the way black football players was being treated by white coaches met with university officials. Actor William Windom played James Thurber in a one-man show. Vacancies on the Jambar were filled by the Publications Committee. Dr. Glorianne Leck (Education) explained new courses in women’s studies. Author Irene Kampen spoke to a near capacity crowd at Powers Auditorium. en_US
