dc.description.abstract	The search was on for a position in the Career Planning and Placement office. NEOUCOM’s entrance requirements were described. The landscaping of the core was nearly complete. The Table Tennis team protested tournament fees. The Chess Club was born. A psychology course in death & dying was offered, as were fellowships in science. An essay contest offered a $5,000 prize for the best paper on welfare reform. A photo exhibit was opened by the United Nations.	en_US
