dc.description.abstract YoCo celebrates its second Homecoming. Peg Lovell is Homecoming Queen for 1939. YoCo celebrates Peter Penguins first appearance during the third quarter of the Homecoming Game. Petey the Penguin has insurance in case of any catastrophes. Editorial comments on the success or failure of Homecoming and the excitement of the college acquiring a live penguin as a mascot. The Football team won the homecoming game against Westminster 46-0. Penguin basketball team set to open its 13th season with the first game against Ashland. YoCo football team and the Davis-Elkins team agree to meet December 2, the original game was postponed due to the death of YoCo student, Jack Green. en_US
