dc.description.abstract	The Faculty Senate considered a recommendation by the University Honors Committee to change the grading policy. The fraternity/sorority pledge period began. Student Council voted down a motion to reduce the publication of “The Horizon” from twice per year to only one time. J. D. Salinger’s new book, “Raise High the Room Beam, Carpenters, and Seymour: An Introduction,” was reviewed, as was the film “The Longest Day.” The YU Basketball Team prepared to meet Wittenberg College.	en_US
