dc.description.abstract President Howard Jones is considering using the Rollins Conference Plan in the Fall as a new teaching method for the college. Dean of Men, Dr. Joseph E. Smith, wil leave at the end of the semester to devote full time to his duties as research advistor to the Thomas Dewey Republican presidential nominee. The Phi Gamma fraternity moves in next to the Sigma Delta Beta fraternity on Wick Oval. Only forty students are admitted for the second semester due to limited space. The Penguin basketball team has a five-game winning streak. en_US
