dc.description.abstract The Dana School of Music announces its upcoming musical, “Die Freischutz,” a romantic opera by Carl Maria von Weber. Phi Gamma planned its 12th Annual Popularity Dance, while the IFC sponsored a campaign to raise money for the purchase of library books. The founding of the Clarence P. Gould Society was announced as the first non-departmental honor society on campus. An op-ed piece defended fraternities and another placed the library at the “heart of any university.” The YU Rifle Team was honored at a banquet and the YU baseball team defeated Hiram College 6-5. en_US
