dc.description.abstract | Youngstown College announces a series of Sunday evening radio broadcasts by faculty members and students which began November 3 over radio station WKBN. Sadie Hawkins Day dance is set for November 08. Students approve of the compulsory military conscription. Youngstown College was accepted for membership in the Northwestern Ohio Debate Conference at a recent meeting of college debate coaches in Cleveland. Letters to the editor include topics on the schools marching band, the location of rocks on campus as well as getting President Jones a collection of penguin statuettes. Pigskin personalities are Sloko Gill and Marty Vardaro. Petey's Past in Penguin sports are included and go back to November of 1935. | en_US |
