dc.description.abstract | The Academic Senate approved three new majors. New Student Council officers were elected and acted on a need for replacement recreational equipment. Some students participating in recreational activities had to provide their own gear. ROTC sponsored a Career Day. A course in Gestalt psychology was offered. A YSU student (an electronics expert) helped build a music listening room in Kilcawley Center. An informal session with civil rights leader Rev. Ralph Abernathy was planned. YSU’s commemoration of the U.S. bicentennial was set for May 16. | en_US |
