dc.description.abstract The Engineering Technology department expressed its exasperation at the delay in repairs to the roof on the new Technical & Community College building. The disregard for “No Smoking” signs by students and faculty became a problem on campus. Six YSU canoeists arrived as hoped in New Orleans via the Mississippi River. The Penguin football team began pre-season physical conditioning. Dr. James C. Morrison was named chair of the Psychology department. Jack Fahey discussed his plans for Kilcawley Center as its new programming director. YSU’s first athletic scholarship offered to a woman was announced. en_US
