dc.description.abstract | A reduction in the state subsidy forced the YSU Board of Trustees to levy a $20 surcharge on fees beginning in Winter Quarter 1977. Student Council chairman Jim Senary decried the low student turnout at the Board of Trustees meeting. An ice cream parlor and a bank were planned for Kilcawley Center. The Polyglot, a student publication of the Foreign Languages department, won an award. A former YSU student did work for Marvel comics. 243 faculty members petitioned for a change in the peer evaluation procedure. Maag Library adds services during its first months of operation. | en_US |
