dc.description.abstract	Dr. James Scanlon is named YSU's provost. The first annual Gathering took place on Thursday with over 100 people in attendance. Dr. Lorrayne Baird-Lange was honored during her retirement festivities at the Wick Pollock Inn. This year's Shermer Scholar-in-Residence Program features Political strategist Mark Mellman. The YSU Penguins are in the First Round Playoffs of the Division I-AA National Championship. Director of Athletics, Joe Malmisur, plays an integral part of the top 20 selection of the Division I-AA teams. Dave Roberts is The Jambars Student Athlete of the Week Award.	en_US
