dc.description.abstract The NCAA Great Lakes regional basketball tournament was to begin, with YSU going up against Randolph-Macon. Dr. James Scriven, dean of admission and records, warned students about the dangers of failing. YSU employees pledged $80,000 toward the construction of the new stadium. Dr. Taylor Alderman was named Vice President for Personnel. Educator Jonathan Kozol’s appearance at YSU was rescheduled from January. Apartment demands created problems for YSU’s housing inspector.
