dc.description.abstract	Former university president Howard W. Jones died on February 25, 1982 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital. He was 86. Jones served as president from 1931 to 1966. During his term of office, Jones witnessed the growth of YSU from a small college with only one or two buildings to a full-fledged university.	en_US
