"The muses were said to be the inspiration of the Arts, and the beauty of the seasons is art! Creation is a masterpiece and everything around us is an inspiration for art." Raymond Escribano was born in Chicago and moved to Puerto Rico at a young age; he now resides in Campbell. At an early age, he developed a love for drawing and painting, and feels his artistic skills are inherited, since so many family members are talented in the visual arts. He furthered his formal art education at the Sagrado Corazon College in Santuce, Puerto Rico. His work is featured at Madison School on a wall mural memorializing the 9-11 tragedy, and his is presently working on wall murals at Stambaugh Elementary School on Youngstown's west side. |
