"I am an artist who truly enjoys visual stimuli, mostly from nature, and my art conveys the beauty and colors of nature. My design is a compilation of the many floral scenes painted by Monet, including the famous water lily pond with the Japanese bridge and weeping willow." Janice Prince received a BFA from Kent State University and is currently a graduate student at YSU. She resides in Cortland, Ohio with husband John and their three children. Currently an art teacher at Buckeye Local Schools in Ashtabula County, she has also taught watercolor for 13 years for Trumbull County Enrichment Program. She has illustrated books on three dimensional flowers, and her work has been shown at Trumbull Art Guild and Butler Institute of American Art. Prince produces pottery under the name "Stones Throw Pottery." |
