Abstract:

A magazine clipping commenting on Hugh A. Frost's first campaign for mayor of Youngstown in 1967. Though unsuccessful in his campaigns, Frost made history as the first African American Republican to seek the mayor's office of a major city. This clipping is possibly from the November 9th, 1967 edition of Jet Magazine.
