dc.description.abstract | Philomena (Mae) Lariccia & Joseph Vargo’s Wedding Dinner, July 1, 1950. Joseph was of Eastern European heritage, possibly from what was then Czechoslovakia. The couple exchanged vows at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, Youngstown. Father Rich conducted the ceremony. The bridal party was composed of the bride’s sisters and the groom’s brothers and cousins. Mae had worked as inspector in one of the machine shops during the war. Joseph worked unloading trucks at General Fireproofing. He also played on GF’s basketball team. | en_US |
