dc.description.abstract	President Jones presided.Mr. Cohen reported on a meeting of the Chemical Society last September in Atlantic City. Dean Smith reported on action of the Academic Standards Committee to allow foreign students whose first language is not English to receive credit towards graduation for Communication and English courses. The second action presented concerned with the general degree requirements and course prerequisite which may be satisfied by examination of the school.
