dc.description.abstract	Dean Smith read the report on the results of the mail balloting on revisions of the Constitution and Bylaws. The Dean called for nominations for member of the Executive Committee. Dean Dykema reported on the Committee for Honorary Degrees and recommends to the Senate that Walter C. Langsam be awarded an honorary degree. President Jones asked that the Discipline and Academic Standards committees have a joint meeting next week and consider the recommendation given from Student Council and to report their conclusions to the Executive Committee. Miss Joann Powell was elected secretary beginning September 01, 1965. President Jones discussed the North Central inspection.
