dc.description.abstract | President Pugsley presided. Mrs. Smith reported on the Committee on Conversion for the semesters to quarter conversion to take place Fall 1967. Dates for registration are given. Mr. Klasovsky told about the Upward-Bound Program which junior high boys attended classes and lived on campus for eight weeks to provide boys who might be potential "drop-outs" to prepare for college. Dr. Yozwiak reported on the National Science Foundation Program. Mr. Earnhart reports on the Associate in Arts program. President Pugsley discussed the School of Nursing program to be started next fall. Members gave well wishes to Dr. Nelson who is leaving the University for a position at the University of Pittsburgh. | |
