dc.description.abstract	President Pugsley presided. Dean Smith reported on the Curriculum Committee including approval of a two year curriculum in Police Science and courses in remedial reading and history. Dean Dykema presented changes in the University Catalog approved by the Academic Standards Committee. President Pugsley commented on grade changes and employment of faculty and staff. He also reported on the status of the Bill to accept Youngstown University as a state-supported institution. The Senate Secretary announced resignation at the end of the year.
